Shortfilmlivemusic presents Trans3:
after the successful premiere in Dresden, the programme, dealing with 20 years of transformation in Europe, goes on tour. At the opening of the 21. Filmfest Dresden, seven films from both Germanys, Hungary and Slovakia got new live soundtracks by a multinational ensemble.
Now, the revised programme goes on tour: the films will be awoken to new life in four concerts and one workshop with young musicians in Hungary. The animations, montages meet the musicians sparkling experimentiveness.
The animation films, documentaries, collages and montages meet the musicians’ esprit and playfulness. It is all about spontaneity and enthusiasm here. The moment is savoured to the fullest: no film sounds alike in two concerts. At a shortfilmlivemusic performance, film and music fuse into a total piece of art.
The ensemble consists of Lautstark!4 (“vociferous!4“), a band around singer Jan F. Kurth, which since the release of their debut “autark“ (“autarkic“) roll up the German Jazz scene; and sound artist Dániel Vedres.
Full of pleasant anticipation, shortfilmlivemusic look ahead to the upcoming concert tour. More information on next year‘s upcoming projects and international collaboration will be announced soon.
